From October 12 to 15, the on-site finals of the China International College Students Innovation Competition (2025) were held at Zhengzhou University, where our university’s participating teams secured 2 gold and 5 silver medals.
Since the launch of the competition, the university’s leadership has attached great importance to the event. Led by the Youth League Committee, various functional departments and schools collaborated closely to establish a systematic project discovery, cultivation, and improvement mechanism. Innovation and entrepreneurship mentors from both within and outside the university, as well as industry experts, were invited to refine the participating projects through multiple rounds of meticulous polishing. High-intensity training sessions were organized during holidays, enabling participants to gain genuine insights through in-depth research and pursue excellence through repeated revisions.
It is reported that this competition was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and nine other departments, along with the People’s Government of Henan Province. It featured five main categories: the Higher Education Track, the "Youth Red Dream-Building Journey" Track, the Vocational Education Track, the Industry Track, and the Budding Track. The competition attracted 6.19 million projects from 24.43 million participants across 5,673 schools in 161 countries and regions worldwide.
