Recently, the university’s comprehensive reform initiative titled "Six-in-One Integration, Fostering Ethics and Empowering Teachers: Cultivating Firm Practitioners of Educator Spirit" has been selected as a "Typical Case of Comprehensive Education Reform and Institutional Innovation in Shandong Province for 2024."

This evaluation, organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, identified 100 exemplary cases across the provincial education system. It aims to showcase the significant achievements in comprehensive education reform and institutional innovation in Shandong in 2024 and to further promote education reform and innovation throughout the province.

In recent years, the university has placed great emphasis on fostering professional ethics and integrity among faculty. It has focused on improving mechanisms, strengthening institutional frameworks, and implementing accountability. The university has established systems such as the "Implementation Measures for Improving the Long-Term Mechanism of Professional Ethics and Integrity at Shandong University of Science and Technology," creating a "six-in-one" system encompassing education, incentives, publicity, evaluation, supervision, and accountability for faculty ethics and integrity development.

Over the past three years, one faculty member has been honored as a "National Outstanding Teacher," another has been recognized as a "National Most Beautiful University Counselor," one has received the title of "Most Beautiful Teacher in Qilu," and one teaching team has been awarded the title of "Most Beautiful Teacher Team in Qilu."
