On March 9th, Shandong University of Science and Technology held the second International Youth Scholars Forum to deepen the talent strengthening strategy and provide talent support for the high-quality development of the university. More than 320 young talents from 28 countries and regions participated in the forum both online and offline.

President Zeng Qingtian attended the forum and delivered a speech. Deputy Minister of the Organization Department of the Qingdao West Coast New Area Work Committee, Zong Wubang, delivered a speech on the talent policies of Qingdao and the West Coast New Area. Director of the Personnel Department (Talent Work Office), Zhuge Fumin, presided over the forum and introduced the school's talent introduction policy.

The International Youth Scholars Forum of Shandong University of Science and Technology aims to attract more outstanding young talents to work at the university and assist in the construction of the "Double First Class" by building an academic exchange platform. Most of the young scholars participating in this forum come from excellent universities and research institutions at home and abroad. After the main forum, each college organized various and rich sub forums based on the research fields and academic backgrounds of young scholars. Through reportsand seminars, academic discussions, and talent negotiations with young scholars from home and abroad at the sub forums, they further deepened communication and exchange, enhancing a detailed understanding of the university.
