Recently, in recognition of the important contributions made by foreign friends to the economic and social development and foreign exchange and cooperation of the province, the People's Government of Shandong Province announced the list of foreign personnel who were awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of Shandong Province" in 2023. Naser, an Iranian expert from Shandong University of Science and Technology, was successfully selected.

In the afternoon of September 28, 2023, the "Honorary Citizen of Shandong Province" award ceremony was held in Jinan. At the ceremony, Lin Wu, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presented Naser with the honorary certificate. After the ceremony, Nasser was invited to attend the National Day reception of the provincial government and reported to the provincial leaders on SDUST's outstanding contributions in cooperations of education, science and technology, culture, and talent cultivation betweeen China and Iran. Which received high regcognition by the provincial leaders.

    Naser was selected for the "International Outstanding Youth Program" by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China in 2018. In 2019, he was employed at Shandong University of Science and Technology and has been awarded the honorary titles of "Shandong Qilu Friendship Award", "Shandong Provincial People's Friendly Ambassador", and "Qingdao West Coast New Area's Most Beautiful International Friend". He has made outstanding contributions in expert introduction, student training, and inter-university cooperation in recent years at SDUST.
