Agreement of cooperation signed between SDUST and Malang National University of Technology

On August 5, Awan Setiawan, President of Malang National University of Technology, Indonesia, and his delegation paid their visit to SDUST, and signed a cooperation agreement with SDUST. Both universities will carry out cooperation on undergraduate joint education and other aspects. Presidentl Yao Qingguo met with guests.

Yao Qingguo welcomed the delegation and briefly introduced the history, scale, international exchange of SDUSTl. "One belt, one road" initiative has brought new opportunities for development of both universities. He congratulated the two parties on signing the agreement. He believes that through frequent communication, the two universities will surely achieve fruitful cooperation.

Awan Setiawan thanked SDUST for its warm welcome and introduced the basic situation of Malang National University of Technology in Indonesia. He said that the discipline construction and internationalization of Shandong University of science and technology are at high level and the campus is beautiful. He hoped that the cooperation between the two parities could provide a better development platform for the two universities and promote their common development.

After the meeting, Yao Qingguo and Awan Setiawan signed memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out joint education of double degree in the mode of "2 + 2" for undergraduate students in majors of mechanical and electrical engineering, communication engineering and chemical engineering.

During the visit, Awan Setiawan and his delegation visited the laboratories of College of Telecommunications, College of Chemical Engineering and College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and had in-depth communication on joint education with them.
