In order to better promote the development of mining, intelligent equipment and environmental protection, and promote academic exchanges between China and Russia, from October 18 to 21, 2018, the ninth China-Russia conference was held in Tsingtao. This meeting was held in Shandong University of Science and Technology (China) and Kuzbass State Technical University (Russia), National Key Laboratory Breeding Base for Mine Disaster Prevention and Control (China), Shandong Province Mining Engineering, Shandong Province Mechanical Engineering ,Shandong Rock Mechanics and Engineering Society (China), China Coal Industry Labor Protection Science and Technology Society Top Board Prevention Committee. Luo Gongli of Shandong University of Science and Technology and Krechetov A. Andrey of Kutz Bass State Technical University served as the chairman of the meeting.
The conference was attended by more than 30 scholars and more than 100 teachers and students from China and Russia. The opening ceremony was hosted by Zhao Xiangdong, Director of the International Exchange Department of Shandong University of Science and Technology. LuoGongli, Secretary of Shandong University of Science and Technology, gave a warm welcome speech on behalf of Shandong University of Science and Technology. TanYunliang, Dean of the School of Mining, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Lv Xianjun, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering, and Chen Tao, Party Secretary of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering attended the opening ceremony.
The main topics of this conference were mining, intelligent equipment and environmental protection. During the one-day conference, well-known experts from China and Russia organized 14 conference reports around the above topics. First, Tan Yunliang, Dean of the School of Mining, Shandong University of Science and Technology, gave a keynote speech entitled “Discussions on Prevention of Rock Burst in Deep Coal Mines”. Later, the lecturer of the Russian Research Institute of Research and Development, Kibayev, gave a report titled “The Evaluation of Negative Anthropogenic Factors Subjection on Bolts Stability and Surrounding Massif Deformations”. Sincethen, 12 scholars from China and Russia have alternately invited invited reports to exchange the latest research results in the fields of mining, intelligent equipment and environmental protection.
On the 20th, experts and scholars from both China and Russia held academic salons at the School of Mining, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and the School of Chemical Engineering, and discussed topics such as “mine mining and environmental protection”, “smart equipment” and “clean and efficient use of coal”. After the academic salon activities, Krechetov A. Andrey and his party visited the State Key Laboratory of Mine Disaster Prevention and Control, the Low Carbon Energy Chemical Laboratory, and the Analytical Testing Center of the School of Chemical Engineering.
The holding of this Sino-Russian international conference will help to improve the research level of mine researchers in this field and expand the international influence of scientific research results in China's mines.
