On June 29, Vice President Jiang Zhihong ofMacao University of Science and Technology and his delegation visited SDUST.Zeng Qingliang, Vice President of Shandong University of Science andTechnology, met with Jiang Zhihong and his delegation. Zeng Qingliang and JiangZhihong signed cooperation agreements on behalf of the two universitiesrespectively.

Zeng Qingliang warmly welcomed JiangZhihong. He introduced the situation of Shandong University of Science andTechnology in terms of school operation pattern, student size, teaching staffand personnel training. He hoped that the two sides would take the signing ofthis Agreement as an opportunity to strengthen communication, give full play torespective advantages, support each other and develop together.

Jiang Zhihong thanked Shandong Universityof Science and Technology for its warm reception. He introduced the situationof Macao University of Science and Technology. He hoped that the twouniversities could learn from each other and cooperate further in postgraduatetraining and teacher-student exchanges.

After the signing ceremony, Jiang Zhihongand his delegation visited the Earth Science Museum accompanied by the head ofthe Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office.

The responsible persons of Macao-ChinaJoint Office of Education and Youth Office of China, Qingdao Education Bureauand the relevant departments and units of Shandong University of Science andTechnology participated in the meeting.
