On June 15, Gary O'Donovan, Vice President of Tasmania University, led a delegation to visit SDUST. The visiting guests were warmly received by presidents of SDUST. Senior officials from the International Office and the Jinan campus also attended the meeting.

A detailed discussion was held after the meeting in which Prof. Yao Qingguo, Vice President of SDUST, together with other senior officials negotiated with the Tasmanian side over issues including the English language teaching schedule for the joint education program, a new round of cooperation agreement, etc, and consensus has been reached on these issues.
