Prof. Peter Frappell, ViceChancellor of the University of Tasmania arrived on October24 for a visit toSDUST. President Ren Tingqi met with the Australian guest. Senior staffs fromthe International Office were present at the meeting.

Ren welcomed the vicechancellor and introduced him SDUST’s recent development in terms of locations,education levels, disciplines, academic strengths, international exchange andcooperation. He stressed that the bilateral ties helped enhance friendship andSDUST’s internationalization.

Peter Frappell appreciated thehost’s hospitality, saying that Tasmania valued the cooperation with SDUST andhoped to further exchange and cooperation.

The two sides exchanged viewson the on-going cooperative program.
