SDUST has been successfully approved the "Outstanding Young Scientists in D

Recently, the China Science and Technology Exchange Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology announced the second batch of outstanding young scientists from developing countries in China during 2018-2019. Dr. Naser Golsanami, Assistant Professor of Sakhand University of Science and Technology in Iran, was selected successfully. He will work at national key laboratory cultivation base at the Shandong University of Science andTechnology for half a year for scientific research cooperation, this is the first time that the SDUST has been approved the "International Outstanding Young Scientists" project.


Dr. Naser Golsanami has been engaged in the field of mine geomechanics and rock engineering for a long time. His research fields are in digital rock technology and deep machine learning. The successful selection will help enhance the influence of the "Belt and Road" initiative, and help promote the internationalization of the Faculty of mining and safety engineering and the international joint research.


The "International Outstanding YoungScientists" project is an important part of China's "science and technology partnership program". The Ministry of science and technology allocated special funds to support eligible young scientists, scholars and researchers from developing countries to cooperate with China in research, aiming at implementing the "Belt and Road" technology innovation action plan and promoting China's scientific and technological exchanges with other developing countries.
