Shandong University of Science and Technology holds the 2018 Graduation Ceremony

On June 28, Shandong University of Scienceand Technology held the 2018 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremonyfor Foreign Students. Vice President Zeng Qingliang attended the graduationceremony and degree awarding ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by ZhaoXiangdong, Director of the International Office.


Zeng Qingliang delivered an enthusiasticspeech. On behalf of SDUST, he extended warm congratulations to the 2018international students and sincere thanks to the hard-working teachers. He saidthat in the past few years of study and practice, the students have worked hardand made great progress, and gained solid professional knowledge and skills;they have thoroughly experienced Chinese language and culture and becomefriendly envoys to spread culture and promote people's common feelings, andhave made unique contributions to the internationalization process of ShandongUniversity of Science and Technology.


In his speech, Zeng Qingliang placed greathopes on the graduates. He hoped that all of the graduates would always be enthusiastic,stick to the sense of responsibility, always be grateful, and make positivecontributions to the peace and development of the world and to the happiness ofall mankind.


In that solemn and exciting moment,graduates came to the podium with joy and happiness. Zeng Qingliang gave handshakes,certificates and posed for pictures for the students who received theirdegrees.


At the ceremony, Vice-President ZengQingliang, Dean of Academic Affairs (Dean of Graduate School), Cao Maoyong andDirector of International Office Zhao Xiangdong jointly issued outstandinggraduate certificates for outstanding graduates and graduation certificates forgraduate representatives. Professor Xu Dongmei from the College of ChemicalEngineering made a speech on behalf of teachers, students representative fromLesotho Molefi Itumeleng Alice, and graduate representative from Pakistan MuhammadDaniyal also made speeches.


There are 72 foreign graduates, 58undergraduates and 14 postgraduates, from 24 countries, including Sri Lanka,Ghana, Congo (Kinshasa), Djibouti, Zambia and Pakistan.


Relevant departments, heads of units,representatives of teachers, all foreign graduates and representatives ofstudents and parents from more than 30 countries gathered together to witnessthis beautiful moment.
